Yami Royale Tournament Rules
1. Registration:
Participants must register on start.gg.
Be a member of the discord
Follow the Twitch Channel
2. Tournament Format:
Single-elimination bracket.
One Deck.
No Side Deck.
3. Match Structure:
Matches are best of 3.
The first duelist to win 2 out of 3 duels is declared the winner.
Loser of Duel 1 chooses who goes first for game 2
If game 3 occurs Loser of Duel 2 chooses who goes first for game 3.
4. Decklists:
Duelists must submit decklists on start.gg before the tournament begins.
Decklists are only visible to moderators during the tournament.
You will automatically be removed from the tournament if a decklist is not provided.
5. Communication:
Duelists communicate through start.gg's dedicated chatrooms for each match.
6. Match Reporting:
Results must be reported on start.gg after each match.
Prompt and accurate reporting is crucial for the tournament progression.
7. Time Management:
Matches have 60-minute rounds.
8 minutes to check-in, no reset if you DQ.
3 minutes after checking in to make a duel room.
3 minutes between games to swap accounts.
Call a mod if your opponent takes longer than 3 minutes.
DQs for not checking in are final unless prior communication with Smash/Discord.
8. Overtime Rules:
Games over 60 minutes end, higher life points win. A mod will grant the win.
If a 3rd game is sudden death.
9. Technical Issues:
Screenshots required for glitches or disconnects. Call a mod for assistance.
Coin flip resolution requires agreement or proof through screenshot/recording.
10. Accumulating Warnings:
3 warnings result in a game loss.
Incomplete screenshot for a missed screenshot is a game loss, followed by a match loss.
11. Unsportsmanlike Conduct:
Zero tolerance for unsportsmanlike conduct toward opponents or mods.
Mods may apply penalties, including game loss, match loss, or disqualification.
12. Fair Play and Integrity:
No altering duel room timers.
Inappropriate content in decklist may lead to disqualification and future bans.
13. Reporting Scores:
Report game score after EVERY game, not at the end of the match.
If no reported score and no response, both assumed AFK, and a random win is awarded.
14. Maintenance:
If the event doesn't conclude before in-game maintenance, remaining matches played at the same time next day.
15. Decklist Disputes:
Penalties for using cards not on the decklist, based on surrender or not.
16. Collusion and Finals:
If unable to play grand finals, forfeit to the previous player or face DQ with no prize.
Collusion or playing poorly may result in a ban.
17. "Shadow Realm Duels":
If the system bugs and live spectate is impossible, restart required.
18. Surrendering in Grand Finals:
Surrendering is not allowed in grand finals.
No pressuring opponents to concede.
